Guardian Angels Catholic Primary School engaged Williams Architects to produce a Masterplan which reflects the idea that the physical environment is responsive to the learning needs of students, facilitates the desired learning experience, and is adaptive and agile to meet the future culture of the school. The report produced by Williams Architects documented the proposed projects, the process and the design thinking for change to the school and the desired outcome. The Masterplan included 5 design principles, reflective of the unique identity of Guardian Angels Ashmore to guide the master plan. From the Masterplan, three major works were decided to proceed, with the first staged to include the Hall redesign to a Student Support Centre, and the refurbishment of the MacKillop Centre into the new Music Studio.
