The sites north facing aspect and expansive views overlooking Anzac Memorial, Cotton Tree Park and the Maroochydore River have been enhanced in the apartment design and arrangement. All apartments within the North Tower are orientated towards these views. The public interface to The Esplanade has been activated for the full street frontage, with ramp and stair access to the north and north-east orientated tenancies. Both towers develop a recognisable dialogue of form with the use of curved balconies and a play on the balustrade / balcony edge treatment. The north tower diminishes the building’s length with a shift in the building line along the Esplanade, which is further reinforced by the profiled solid balustrade / sun hood arrangement. The form of the tower buildings respond to the coastal setting and urban character of the local area to reinforce its distinctive vibrant cosmopolitan component of Cotton Tree within Maroochydore and the Sunshine Coast.
