Blackall Hospital

Blackall Hospital. Central Queensland. 2019-2020.

WA coordinated all design disciplines for the successful outcome of an emergency, general practice and health services hospital located in Central West Queensland. With the increasing demand for a rural health service, Blackall Hospital offers the surrounding community a variety of services to meet their needs. The design aims to be sympathetic to the local context and climate, delivering materials of durability, longevity, and low maintenance. The façade is aesthetically considered to be complimentary to the surrounding landscape, whilst helping insulated and shield against the climates experienced.
